|RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages fiscal and designated policies of the Department of Aviation, providing support for department staff including the Senior Airport Business Administrator and Airport Properties Supervisor. Works with airport tenants and concessionaires in developing contract terms and conditions, and monitors and enforces compliance with agreements. The incumbent is expected to read, interpret and enforce lease and contract documents and must have excellent oral and written communication skills in order to effectively present information in public forums. The incumbent is assigned Special Projects such as researching data and practices of other airports, and interviewing consultants to develop and expand parking and concessions at the Dayton International Airport to remain competitive with other airports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Aviation/Airport Management, Business Management, Public Administration, Marketing or other closely related field. Two (2) years of management experience, contract or project administration, parking, or other airport experience. Airport management experience is preferred.
Degree must be from a college or university that is accredited by the U.S. Department of Education through the North Central Association of Colleges and Universities or equivalent region.
Must possess a valid driver's license at time of appointment and maintain thereafter as a term and condition of continued employment.
